Granite Construction is a design-to-build company based in Rayleigh, Essex, delivering new build homes, loft conversions, extensions, renovations, and garden rooms. Led by director Steve, the team carries out all work in-house rather than using subcontractors, covering everything from carpentry and joinery to render and finishing trades. It's an approach that has earned Granite a strong local reputation for quality and consistency across every project.
Granite Construction:
Where it started:
When Granite came to Socialife, our initial focus was on generating leads through social media. They arrived with 2,343 Instagram followers and 1,829 Facebook followers, with TikTok still to be built from the ground up.
What we’ve done:
In February 2026 we onboarded Granite Construction onto a full scale social media management package, with a four week onboarding period followed by content going live from March. The package covers 30 posts a month across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, made up of around 25 videos and 5 statics.
We carry out one to two site visits a month, filming and photographing across all of Granite's active projects. The content mix includes speaking videos with the team on camera, project montages, progress updates, and trend-reactive content, all shot in a tone that's fun, relatable but professional.
The Granite team are confident speaking to camera, which has allowed us to lean into trust-building content that explains their services directly. Process and on-site footage, satisfying b-roll spanning a range of trades, all form a regular part of the monthly content mix.
The results:
Summary:
Since launching, Granite's content has reached 128,315 views on Instagram, 61,199 accounts reached, and 1,511 interactions. On Facebook, content has hit 108,582 views with watch time up 121%, and the account has gained 2,357 profile visits. TikTok has been the standout performer, with 164,900 views, 2,700 likes, and 1,100 shares. For further context, we started Granite’s TikTok account form scratch.
TikTok in particular had an exceptional month in May, with post views jumping 288% to 124,000 off the back of a single video, "when the boss says we'll get it done," which alone drove 95,000 views and over 1,100 shares. That level of sharing pushed Granite's content well beyond its existing audience and into entirely new viewers, converting directly into follower growth.
On Instagram, total interactions hit their highest figure yet in May, and net new followers grew by 50% month on month, a sign that the content strategy is consistently bringing in the right audience.
Facebook has bounced back strongly too, with views up 48% and every engagement metric, shares, reactions, and overall interactions, moving upward together, a clear marker of a strong content month.
In this 3 month period, Granite has also had 3 high-quality, organic enquiries in their Instagram DMs which are currently being quoted.
