Fresh Knickers (and a Gin & Tonic)
Fresh Knickers (and a Gin & Tonic) is a witty musical comedy by playwright Heather Davis that follows Cheryl and her friends as they navigate the highs and lows of perimenopause with humour, music and plenty of honesty. The show, which was awarded funding from Arts Council England (ACE), uses comedy and music to bring attention to subjects often left unspoken, from hot flushes to midlife changes. ACE funding supports creative projects that make a positive impact on culture and communities, and this backing highlights the play’s value in sparking conversation and offering a light-hearted yet empowering take on women’s experiences.
Social Media Goal
Heather’s goal for Fresh Knickers play was to boost brand awareness in all four theatre locations – Chelmsford, Ipswich, Colchester and South Kensington. Alongside this, to boost ticket sales with a view to sell out each theatre.
